Twitter Explodes Over Jonathan Bailey's Manspreading, Leather Boots-Sporting Photo

Kissing "Jurassic World: Rebirth" co-star Scarlett Johansson on the lips? Thrilling fans with flip-flops on the red carpet? Forget all that: Jonathan Bailey's new photo in leather boots will melt your mind.
Sporting a crisp white shirt and black tie and trousers to go with the thigh-high footwear, Bailey is pictured reared back in a chair, hands clasped behind his head, and fixing the camera with a 'Do You Dare?" look.
Gay Twitter instantly erupted when the thirst trap, snapped by photographer Sharif Hamza as part of a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, hit the social media platform.
Among the frenzied cries of approval and desire that flooded Twitter's zone in response to the pic was one commentator's statement that, "If I could be a man, I would be a gay man just so he could top me," while another cheered, "I HEAR SUM PURRINGGG".
"My ride is here," another declared, while another fan simply posted, "werk."
Others had even saucier thoughts.
The memes flew thick and fast.
That steamy snap was only the tip of the thirsty iceberg, however. The THR photo session had more to offer – much of which also found its way to X.
The profile that accompanied the Hamza's photos in The Hollywood Reporter took note of how the "Fellow Travelers" star "broke out in Netflix's steamy period romantic drama 'Bridgerton,' one of the platform's most-watched shows ever, and then last year made his big-screen Hollywood debut in the $700 million movie musical extravaganza 'Wicked'," in which he played Prince Fiyero.
His boots made for some talkin' when, during a costuming session for the big-screen musical, Bailey reportedly ended up clad in nothing more than his Fiyero footwear. Though he vowed it will never see the light of day, Bailey left fans feeling like they were "defying gravity" when he claimed that there's a photo of him sporting the boots in his birthday suit.
Where actors once almost universally clung to the closet for fear of the professional consequences of coming out, Bailey is joyously out; he shared with THR one of the lessons he's learned – or, as he put it, "unlearned" – in the course of his acting career, including the trope that, "If you're gay, there's a glass ceiling."
Judging from his stratospheric success (and the sheer amount of headlines he generates with each and every move), Bailey has left any glass ceiling as shattered as his online fans.
