The "Crossroads" Recording Project is a re-imagining of Broadway show tunes; featuring collaborations with Broadway stars and artists from across the country to benefit BC/EFA, the 5Th Avenue Theatre and the Northwest Choirs. The idea for the album originated four years ago from Seattle native, actor and musician Ryan Edward Armstrong.

The "Crossroads" album is entirely non-profit with all proceeds from the album being donated to the Pacific Northwest's 5th Avenue Theatre: Rising Star Project, The Northwest Choirs and NYC's Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Armstrong has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Central Washington University. He's performed Off-Broadway, in shows: "Pete the Cat" and "Orphans and Outsiders," and most recently finished TheatreWorks USA's national tour of "Teacher from the Black Lagoon" (Carner/Gregor, O'Keefe/Benjamin, etc...). Regional credits include productions of "Legally Blonde," "Of Mice and Men," "The Secret Garden" and "West Side Story," and Grammy-nomination from his time with the Northwest Choirs on the album "The Shoe Bird," narrated by Jim Dale.

Programs for youth, such as those at the 5th Avenue Theatre and Northwest Choirs, are what encouraged Armstrong to explore his passions and feel confident in his talents.

For this reason, Armstrong has wanted nothing more than to give back to those programs that have given him so much, along with BC/EFA that needs more and more resources when the arts and healthcare services are being cut nationwide. This album seeks to bring more love and trump hate in a time when that seems more and more impossible.
