Leaving

Academy Award Nominee Kristin Scott Thomas plays a predictable cheating wife in the French import, Leaving. As a bored, desperate housewife, Suzanne (Thomas) decides to change careers. Her rich, hot, French husband contracts a Spanish builder to make her an office. Naturally, Suzanne and the Spaniard can't help themselves and they have a torrid affair. She confesses her affair, leaves her husband, and he attempts to ruin their lives.

While Leaving offers the somewhat unique feel of France, the story is something we've seen before. Thomas delivers excellently as the desperate Suzanne, but unfortunately she cannot save the film's innate predictability. This DVD release includes the trailer.
