EDGE is reaching into its archive and sharing some of our favorite stories from the past.

His name is Sandro Farmhouaw and he's an out, tatted and bearded, 30-year old nanny living in London. He's also the break-out star of 2022 edition of Netflix's "The Great British Bake Off."And is in a relationship, having introduced his boyfriend in one episode.

It didn't take long for fans to call him "cake daddy" and "the great British baking snack." While one fan wrote they "can't wait for Bred Week" — with intentional misspelling.

And if fans are thirsting, he responded with a thirst trap.

On the show's website, he is described as being born in Angola, but came to London to feel the war in his country with his mother. He made an impression on the show's opening episode by showing off his fitness routine. Trained in boxing and ballet, he says he turned to baking as a form of therapy after his dad died when he was 21. "Now, he lives and breathes it, and is often found rustling up bakes in a relaxed vibe with the telly on, or running virtual baking classes for children with autism."

Working with children is important for Farmhouse, whose name suggests a vision of bucolic country residence. Working with the group Social Ark, prompted Sandro to create baking and cake decorating workshops for autistic children. "Social Ark has introduced me to real community leadership. I am passionate about creative baking and supporting children and young people with special needs to flourish. I'm full of aspirations and really looking forward to the future, being part of Social Ark and wherever my baking journey takes me."

That Sandro is into being physically fit is apparent in the array of tight t-shirts he wears, which have caught the eye of his growing number of fans. The Cut writes gushes his skin "is frequently aglow with the light of a thousand suns — or maybe just sweat from filming inside a tent in the summer. He has some artfully layered gold jewelry, and he can even pull off that delicate little nose ring."

The website The Cut observes that one of the show's better-known terms has been the source of running joke for Sandro. "If the term 'soggy bottom' is any indication, The Great British Baking Show has a generally sexless vibe, so you can imagine how jarring it is to see this tattoo-laden, neck-chain-wearing man here, of all places. Respectfully, those aprons are not designed to accommodate pecs."

Sandro has made it to episode four in the competition.
