Stylist to the Stars Law Roach Abruptly Quits Over 'Politics' and 'Lies'
In fashion, one day you are in, and one day you are out. And stylist to the stars Law Roach has decided that he is out.
As reported by People Magazine, Roach abruptly announced his retirement from the fashion industry on Instagram after having enough of the "politics" and "lies" that the industry is known for.
"My Cup is empty," he began the post. "Thank you to everyone who've supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I'm so grateful for you all."
The accompanying image was a graphic stamp of the word "retired." Roach added, "If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it's not!"
Say it ain't so!
Roach has been building a tremendous career behind the scenes as THE top stylist to the stars as an "image architect," and he had only just seemed to be really stepping out the shadows to give us a glimpse of the man behind the talent.
But something seems to have set him off, and fans went into overdrive speculating about what that could be.
Some pointed to a clip from a recent Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris that shows Zendaya and Roach entering together only to find one seat in the front row available for them. Zendaya proceeded to take the seat and gestured for him to take another seat in the second row. But from the looks of the video, it seems like Roach made arrangements for there to be two seats and wanted the row to move down to accommodate him.
It might seem like no big deal, but front row is everything in the fashion world. So this might be an inkling of the "politics" he is cryptically referring to.
